About the project

I was tasked with creating a logo for my super cool mom, Lois. Lois is a Sales Representative and Regional Manager for 3form, and works closely with architects and designers, incorporating 3form’s architectural glasses and resins, to turn their concepts into reality. And so, Lois Designs and her catchy slogan “turn your concepts into reality” was born.

The Lois Designs logo was inspired by organic wave forms and aimed to be sporty, sleek and minimalistic, just like my mom. The orange in the Lois Designs logo reflects back to her position at 3form, however, it also speaks to who Lois is. Orange is a combination of the energy of red and the happiness of yellow, and represents enthusiasm, creativity and determination. All of which are attributes that Lois brings to the table in both her personal and professional life.

After all the inspiration my mom has provided to me and my design work throughout my life, it was nice to be able to inspire her a little with her own (imaginary) company.
